Hi- I am Jen Meyer and I am a financial advisor here at Serving Those Who Serve.
My focus is helping federal employees and their families understand complicated federal benefits and make excellent decisions for their financial futures. Working with Feds is personal for me as my dad and several aunts, uncles, and cousins built their careers with and retired from the federal government.
I got my first taste of finance as a bank teller in college. Eager to learn more, I became an economics major, graduating from University of MD. Currently, I hold the CFP® designation as well as the Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultant (ChFEBC℠) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) certifications.
Too often, federal employees make mistakes in their financial planning due to misinformation or lack of reliable resources to get questions answered. My mission is to help you filter through the noise to make the best decisions for you and your family, leaving every federal employee I meet in a better place. Some people say I care too much, is there really such a thing?
